What is NONA?

What do they do?
NONA is a non-profit Child Development Center located in Vernon and providing services to families and caregivers of children with a wide variety of developmental challenges. Currently servicing almost 700 families in the North Okanagan.
What kinds of services do they provide?
NONA provides services at no charge for families including but not limited to speech therapy, infant development, physical and occupational therapy, supported child development, family support and autism services.
Why is there a big play house parked in front of the casino?
That house is the Winter Carnival Float and is being used to raise awareness for the fund raising campaign.
Why are they raising funds?
NONA is raising $1.6 Million Dollars to build a new “Clubhouse” which will be a purpose-built development center with dedicated space and therapy rooms that will service approximately 55 children and youth each day!
How is Lake City Casino getting involved?
Lake City Casino has pledged to raise a minimum of $10,000 towards this project and will be doing that in a few ways.

Charity BBQ at Lake City Casino on Saturday May 28th from 11am – 2pm
