Casinos across the country were mandated to close due to COVID-19 in March of 2020. BC remains the only jurisdiction in North America that has completely refused to permit casinos to re-open (even in a restricted manner) during the COVID-19 pandemic. Today, thousands of casino workers remain off the job and all facilities remain closed.  We are sharing a video done in partnership with the BCGEU that highlights three Starlight Casino New Westminster employees who have shared their powerful stories, discussing how the lengthy closure has deeply affected them.  We continue to work very hard to get our facilities re-opened and are hopeful this video will propel that conversation forward. We are ready to re-open and confident that we can operate our facilities in a safe and responsible manner. We look forward to resuming our operations across the province and throughout Canada and welcoming back our employees and valued customers when the Public Health Offices deems it safe to re-open.
