BCLC and our service provider partners have developed a COVID-19 safety plan to protect our employees. Every casino has appointed a health and safety delegate or committee on site, have staggered employee shifts to prevent congestion in staff areas and reconfigured employee break spaces to allow for more spacing.
BCLC and casino service providers will continue to comply with all of WorkSafeBC’s standards. All employees, contractors and vendors will be required to wear personal protective equipment as appropriate for their role, such as face coverings.
Before returning to work, all casino employees will be required to complete a training program on the new health and safety protocols.
