The $99.3 Million Entertainment Destination will Bring up to 600 New Jobs
DELTA, BC, July 21, 2022 – Construction of the new Cascades Casino in Delta is well underway and is kicking off a recruitment drive to find talented and enthusiastic team members to operate the brand-new 160,000 sq. foot entertainment destination. The new Cascades Casino Delta will feature a spectacular gaming floor with exciting entertainment and multiple dining and culinary options to suit any taste; including their signature restaurants – Match Eatery & Public House, Summit Bar, and a full-service Buffet.
The project will bring up to 600 new jobs and a $99.3 million investment to the Delta economy. Cascades Casino Delta will feature state-of-the-art meeting and event space; exciting entertainment including approximately 500 slot machines, 18 live table games and 4-6 electronic table games based on game and terminal configuration for stadium-style gaming; and multiple dining options.

Cascades Casino has announced the hiring of its first employee. Rick Tite has accepted the role of Food & Beverage Manager. Rick started his journey with Gateway in 2014 at Grand Villa Casino Burnaby in the back-of-house operations. From there he expanded his scope and was promoted to a senior culinary role at Starlight Casino New Westminster. Most recently he spent five years leading culinary operations for BC & Alberta properties as a member of Gateway’s corporate team. Rick has been part of 26 restaurant openings and has had the pleasure of working with some of the best leaders Gateway has to offer.

To prepare for the Grand Opening this fall, Gateway is ready to begin the hiring process in Delta. The first priority is to create a strong team to operate the gaming floor and manage the new food & beverage offerings including, but not limited to, Table Games Dealers, Slot Attendants, Cashiers & Count Team Members, Security Officer, Chefs & Cooks, Servers and Bartenders. Hospitality and administration staff are also needed.
