Gateway Casinos Sudbury is pleased to donate $500 to Bizzy Bea’s in support of their mission to provide warm meals to the people in Greater Sudbury experiencing homelessness.
On February 10, 2022, Surveillance Manager Sean T met with Bizzzy Bea’s Founder Chantelle Roy to hand deliver our donation. Sean volunteers his time, his kitchen and storage in his home to help prepare 150 meals, including dessert, every Thursday for distribution to the city of Greater Sudbury’s homeless community.
Bizzzy Bea’s relies solely on donations and volunteers to prepare and deliver approximately 400 meals every week. Every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, Bizzzy Bea’s volunteers fill grocery bags with snacks, water and a warm home cooked meal.
